Day 25 and Day 26
Jan. 26... First trip to Target was a success! (If you can't tell, I am feeling much much better!) He did so good. Never cried. PTL! We had to take Miss Beth's advice to NOT put him up on the buggy, but to put him down inside. :) I promise Beth to never be one of those MOMS! :) I will try really really hard.
Today he had his 2 week Dr. appointment and weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces. Only 1 once short of birth weight. Yeah! So we don't have to go back until his 2 month check-up. Daddy also took Mommy to get her mixed drink of choice!! A fountain CAFFEINE FREE DIET COKE with a fourth Dr. Pepper. :) It made my mouth very happy.
***On the way home the funniest thing happened. I sneeze really really funny right now since it still hurts after my Csection. So I did my quirky sounding achooo! (It really is ridiculous.) And My almost 2 week old son mocked me! I was on the phone with my mom and she thought it was Andrew making fun of my sneeze, but it was my son. He imitated my exact sound. We couldn't believe our ears. It was amazingly, hilariously, funny! If Brant only knew how amazing his parents think he is!! :)
Maybe our next trip will be to the Movie Theatre..... Thanks Ladies for all the great advice! :)
Jan. 25 .... Tiny Tiny shoes for Tiny Tiny feet.
First time he ever had on shoes. These are special shoes to me, because all of my Oldest Brother's sons wore these sweet shoes.

Day 13- Day 20
I finally felt enough like myself today to gather up energy to catch up since our lives have been touched by our baby boy!
Day 20 -- January 20, 2011
Mommy is so happy! Brant is a thumb-sucker. We saw him suck his thumb in every ultrasound and today we caught him doing it! :) So sweet.
Day 19 -- January 19, 2011
First trip out...to the Doctor and to get Mommy a cheeseburger and fries. I wasn't feeling well and it was the ONLY ONLY thing I could stand to think about eating.
Day 18 -- January 18, 2011
He does not like when I put mittens on his hands. He loves to have them free so he can play with them. I just wish he wouldn't scratch his poor little face.

Welcome Home Baby Brant!

My Biggest Craving being Preggers....Crepes!! I could eat it every day. I feel so deprived, because I was just introduced to them since being pregnant. Thanks, Rach and Zach. I am trying to figure out how to make them myself. This one has Nutella spread, sliced strawberries and bananas, cheesecake and whipped cream. Yummm-O!

Day 1 - 4
I have decided to jump on board with the 365 days picture project for 2011. This new year has a lot in store for Andrew and I. Baby Boy Raymond is set to arrive next Tuesday, at the latest. We are very excited to think that OUR SON will be here this time next week! :) Please keep us in your prayers.
Day 4 - After my doctor's appointment today, Andrew and I had our usual...Moe's Burritos! I enjoyed my Joey Jr. Grilled Chicken burrito, caffeine free sprite, and pasteurized cheese dip! Yumm! I love how they yell "Welcome to Moe's" every time a customer walks through the door!
Day 3 - Ever heard of a Husband getting the "Nesting" urge before his baby arrives? Well my wonderful hubby definitely has it! :) He has conquered several projects within the last month! Oh the things I would do for his energy and gumption! :) Thanks, baby!
Day 2 - 39 Weeks preggers! This little boy is coming soon to watch the colts with his Daddy! I hope they stay in the playoffs!
Day 1 - What to make with the amazing Pillsbury biscuits on New Year's Day Morning?? I know...the infamous Fried Doughnuts! My mom made them almost every Saturday morning when I was growing up. Dip them in powdered sugar or cinnamon -n- sugar. Either way you Can Not go wrong. If you have never heard of them before....you must try this Saturday Morning. It will become your new family ritual.
Quick and Easy Pilsbury Fried Doughnuts
1 container buttermilk refrigerator biscuits
cooking oil (enough to fill pan to 2")
cinnamon and sugar
or powdered sugar
Heat oil until it is very hot. With a doughnut cutter, cut biscuits. Drop in hot oil. Flip as they brown - it only takes a second, depending on how hot the oil is.
Place on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Dip or coat with cinnamon-sugar mixture or powdered sugar as desired.
Makes 10 doughnuts and 10 doughnut centers.
